Renewable energy is the future
Since 2019, the NZO project has been working to persuade decision-makers to adopt policies for a transition to green, clean, and decentralized energy. We advocate for the shift to renewable energy because it is cheaper, cleaner, and puts money directly back in your pocket.
With renewable energy, money grows on the rooftops.
By installing solar panels on the rooftops of all buildings across Israel, we take the profits currently concentrated among major electricity producers and distribute them to the public. Every household will benefit from affordable electricity, thousands of new jobs will be created, and the electricity sector will become more sophisticated.
With renewable energy, the air will truly be clean.
For too long, we have been told that natural gas is clean. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Natural gas emits more air pollution than solar panels—and far more greenhouse gases. Every summer reminds us once again that we are on the edge of the desert and that the impacts of global warming are already being felt. Without a rapid transition to renewable energy, life here will become prohibitively expensive and unbearable.
